By Car from Rome Fuimicino Airport:
1
Follow signs out of the airport to the Autostrada north (toward Grosseto).
2 Take the Autostrada to E80 (the Via Aurelia) north (also toward Grosseto). Continue on E80 for about 150km until you arrive at the "Grosseto Sud" exit.
3 Exit the Via Aurelia and follow the signs toward Grosseto (the road curves, but there are no turns to make).
4 After about 4km, at the first major intersection (traffic will be merging in from a U-turn to your left, and you will see signs pointing to the various parts of grosseto), turn left under the train bridge.
5 On the other side of the bridge bear left and continue along the road, parallel to the tracks.
6 Continue straight through the traffic circle in the direction of Marina di Grosseto.
7 Go straight for another 10 km toward Marina di Grosseto. Tenuta San Carlo is on the left; the name of the farm is on two brick pillars along the road.
8 You have arrived! Staff will greet you!
The above indications can also be applied when coming from Siena and Pisa. Drive in the direction of Rome or Grosseto until the 'Grosseto Sud' exit. (If you reach Principina a Mare, you have gone about 1 km too far.)
By Train from Rome Fuimicino Airport:
1 A direct shuttle train called the Michelangelo goes from the airport to Roma Termini, Rome's central train station.
2 From Termini there are several trains daily to Grosseto. The fastest trains are Eurostar and IC (Intercity); they take about two hours.
3 Try to avoid the much slower "Regionale" trains.

By Train or bus from everywhere in Italy:
1 Search for an InterCity (IC) train to the city of Grosseto or a Bus (usually a Rama bus) going to Grosseto.
2 Once arrived in the station of Grosseto either take a cab to the farm or take the number 12 bus in the direction of Principina Mare.
3 Get off at the stop called "Trappola" then walk about 100 feet to the entrance of the property and you will be greated by staff.
